Whether or not we were in Ecuador, where the climate is hot and humid at certain times of the year. If the heat predominates between December and February, between March and July there are some rains, while August and December are marked by days of cloudy skies, although with no rain. It is the so-called equatorial climate, where different altitudes cause microclimates.

Portuguese, or at least it is spoken by around 95% of the people of São Tomé, along with the five creoles of African languages. The presence of the Portuguese language is due to the arrival of Portuguese navigators in 1470 and subsequent colonization until 1975, the year that marks independence.

Meeting genuine people while traveling through other countries and cultures, São Tomé and Príncipe is excellent at this “art” of expressing sympathy. These are people always available to talk, share their relaxed way of living or even to welcome visitors with a smile on their faces.

On both main islands. On the island of São Tomé in the south where we can visit “Praia Pascina”, a paradisiacal place with a natural pool with warm Tuqueza blue waters.

On Príncipe Island you will find the fabulous beaches that appear on “postcards” of the country, such as Praia Banana, Praia Boi, Praia Bombom,

 and many more, which you will certainly discover in person.
